Broilers have been subjected to modern technologies that have made it possible to significantly
reduce growing times. One of these methodologies is intensive reproduction increasing population
density in the houses to increase efficiency, however, by increasing the number of broilers per
square meter this has resulted in an increase in ammonia production and consequently a decrease
in oxygen to the animals, causing respiratory and digestive problems that bring about a decline
in performance and production parameters.
The use of ingredients, such as our Yucca schidigera products, in poultry feed in doses ranging
from 100 to 120 grams per ton, have achieved a decrease in levels of ammonia, as well as better
feed utilization, improving feed conversion and increasing weight for the benefit of animals
and the producer.
